Subject:What a week I've had...
Time:02:25 pm
From Monday to Monday--> It has been one hell of a crazy week, boy, let me tell you. Last Monday I began moving into my new place (beautiful by the way!). We moved all the really big stuff such as the couches, my roomates bed, tables, and the like. Tuesday and Wednesday we boxed up all the dishes and brought those over, along with our clothes and such. Wednesday was the last day that my roommate could help me with the move because one of her best friends was getting, so she left about mid-day and all of a sudden I had a house to clean all by myself. I went over to my friend Jenna's house that night to take a much needed break. We played Texas hold-em and I got really drunk. I don't remember much of the end of the night, but apparently I threw my shoes around among other things. Thankfully, my mom is a sweetheart and came over on Thursday to help out with the vacuuming. Together we moved my twin mattress and desk into the sorority house for the summer (for storage) because I don't need them now. It was good to have her here, but I was so very hungover that day, it was a huge ordeal for me to have to lift and manuver those things. Not fun for little me. On Friday, I did more of the cleaning stuff before I went to work that night. Then went back over to Jenna's to play four-man chess. It was really fun and challenging.

I had to work all day Saturday, but used my lunch break to check out of the house with our landlord. Turns out that she's a royal bitch and decided that this would be the best time to give me the check-out list of things that she wants done before I can get my deposit back. Hmmmm. Think she could have done this a few days earlier? Apparently she's not either a) considerate or b) intelligent. Right now, I'd have to say both. So I spent my Saturday night re-caulking the bathroom, touching up paint, and other stupid things like that. GRRR! Not wanting my saturday night to be a complete waste, I went over to Brad's house and we watched the Patriot and then stayed up until 5 am. Maybe not the best idea, but it was fun. I made it back over to the old house to do more things on that stupid list by 9 am on Sunday (yep that was a four hour night) before going to work at noon.

After work, I went to The da Vinci Code which was a pretty good movie, but not as good as the book. I really hope that they turn Dan Brown's other novel, Angels and Demons, into a movie now, because that one would rock hardcore, and about ten times as much as the code did.

So that would bring me to today, Monday once again. Guess what happened today? My new landlord was having a pine tree cut down in my front yard and the guy was trying to park his truck on the side of the house and hit my car. Nothing to bad, just a 7 inch scratch that's dented in a little bit. However, the job to fix it is about $600! Good thing that it's not out of my pocket! The company is going to pay for it all, along with my rental car while it's getting repaired.

So that's been my week.

You would never guess what I did yesterday. Growing up I had the idea that Greek life was crazy to join, with hazing and initiations, and only valley girls with lots of money and had Daddy paying for everything were in sororities. Well, as of yesterday at 2:00 in the afternoon, I officially signed a lifetime commitment to the Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) Fraternity. Fraternity is the official word, really its a sorority. I didn't join a male greek house. So I have now gone Greek! I'm super excited about the whole thing and I had a blast last night at the Pike's Pajama Party. Met some very interesting characters! Anyway, that's the lastest in my life.

I also bought my flight ticket and rented a car for Founder's! So its official, I will see all you Cottey girls in March! Can't wait!

My grandpa recently has been having pains in his bones all over, so he went into the hospital to get it checked out. Turns out that all traces of his leukemia are gone!!!! His bones hurt because they are healing, and growing back with good tissue! Aw, thank you lord! I'm so happy!

Subject:crazy weekend

Had a sort of all over the place weekend. Started out Friday afternoon by picking up a check for an experiment I participated in...got $175!! Then had to use that to buy myself some groceries and pay the electricty bill. So that's almost completely gone now. I went with my friend Dan to Underworld: Evolution on Friday night. It was an okay movie, but not as fun as the first one was. Oh well. But we snuck in a few PBR's and got to drink during the film, so that made it more interesting. Then afterwards, I got to play chauffeur as we hopped from place to place. Good side of it was that I got to meet about 50 new people in one night, and some of them seem pretty cool to be around. Mental note: Should hang out with them again soon. Decided that 2:30 am was late enough since I had been awake for about 20 hours by then, so I went to bed then. And I guess I needed the sleep because I slept for about 10 hours. Hey that's a long time for me, okay?

Anyway, I spent the day Saturday with my cousin, Hope, doing some things, like shopping. Then I went to do some job hunting/applications when she went into work. I called Tamara to see how she was but she was busy with people so I will have to catch up with her later on. Got a call from Alexis, who finally drunk dialed me! Poor girl, I can only remember seeing her drink once before and she wasn't drunk then. Glad to know that she was having fun. A little bit after that, little miss Chada had to call when she was coming down off of her drunken high and talk about how Alexis called her too. So we both had a good laugh. Fell asleep to Pretty Woman on TV.

So today (Sunday), I got up early and made some blueberry muffins and some corn muffins and caramel flavored coffee! Had a yummy breakfast and then went off to church with my cousin and a few friends. The service was okay, but felt like more of a social hour than an actual worship, so i doubt if I will go again. Then I watched the playoff games for the NFL. Boring games, so I called Dawn to give her shit about the Broncos losing. Later on I finally did my homework and now I'm all over the internet.

So that's it....talked to some of my Cottey luvlies, spent time with family and met some interesting people. Not a bad way to spend a few days.

Made it back into the swing of the new semester. Classes began on Wed. and have been rolling right along. Already had homework that was due today. POO! My classes seem to be alright. They are a lot bigger than what I had last semester though. I don't like having big classes. I like the closeness of a class with only a few people and at the most 15 students and the prof knows everyone's names and maybe a little tidbit about them. Man alive I miss Cottey! I don't think that I made the right choice in my transfer institution. I should have choosen a smaller school. I know I would have been much happier in the long run. Although I wouldn't have been close to my family. I think that my family has to come first right now anyway. It's been a tough time over the past six months, and I'm glad that I could be near my family to help them through it.
On a more positive note, x-mas break was splendid. I got to spend some time with friends that I haven't seen in a year. I had to avoid others because of Jessie being back in town....But that's water under the bridge. I had a fabulous new years eve and didn't make it home until 8 am the next morning! I slept a while after that.....but it was a total blast!
Currently, I am on a mad hunt for a job. Before break, everyone in this town was hiring, now, I have been turned away about 5 times. It's getting frustrating and I will probably end up working at some minimun wage job either on campus or at some fast food place. I hate to be left to those choices, but I'm getting to be pretty broke and these are my options anymore.
I can't wait for spring break to roll around! I am planning on making a trip out to Portland for a few days, but to be back in Butte for St. Pat's. Butte has the biggest St. Pat's celebration in the Northwest! And finally I can legally take part cause I am 21!! WOOT!!! If anyone is looking for a fun filled place to go, you can come to Butte for March 17th. I will put you up at my house and fun times will be had!! Then it's Founder's shortly after that. it's going to be an awesome semester, I just know it.

Subject:I must have the coolest prof ever!

So today I had my most stressed over final. It was in electrochemistry/chromatography (if you don't know what it means, don't ask). I had struggled with the course all semester long and talked over my final grade with my prof, who will only let us call him John, and not Prof. Bognar, cause he's just cool like that. So I talk to him about my grade because at this point, I was basically going to fail if I didn't do excellent on the final. He tells me that as long as I get a C or better on the final, he will make everything okay. So I study hard-core all weekend long and all the way up until 2:00 pm today when we start the test. Test goes by and I am pretty confident that it will all turn out with me passing the class. I hope that I even did well enough to deserve a B-....cause that would be sweet!

After the final, the whole class (minus those that are not 21 yet) goes to Spectator's Bar and Grill, Prof. included! We all sat there and bullshitted and had a few pitchers of beer. It was awesome, but sad because I finally got to bond with some of my classmates, and the semester is over! I always thought that I had some of the worst timing. But it was really neat and odd to have a beer with my teacher.....not something that most others would even consider. Atleast this guy was all cool about it. So now all I have to do is take my Physics (205) final on thursday and be done!

I plan on coming home to Butte this Friday. So all you Butte dwellers can give me a call this weekend! By for now.

Subject:My new promise...
Time:10:39 pm

So I've decided that so many of the people I know live so far away, I should really try to put in some things for my blog more often. Its a lot easier, though not as much fun, to do this rather than call everyone I know everytime something happens in my life. Plus, this way, if they don't want to hear it, then they don't have to bother. So, I promise to update more often.

Everyone I know is talking about the upcoming Christmas break. It starts so soon, but I am not entirely ready for it to begin. Actually, with each passing day, I am dreading it. My closest friends know that my grandpa has been battling with leukemia since last March. Well, he finished his last round of chemo treatments in August and we all thought that everything would be fine. He was getting his strength back and he had color in his cheeks. He's a fighter after all. He has beaten both mouth cancer and prostate cancer before. So we (my family) were just so shocked to find out last week that it may have come back, and stronger this time. My grandpa hasn't eaten in a few days. He just wakes up, showers with my grandma's help and then he has to go back to sleep because that simple act has taken all of his strength. He can't stand on his own anymore and I just don't know what to think of it. The doctors say that his only options are to give up now or take a shot of chemo every week for as long as he wants to live. He told my mom (his daughter) that he really only wants to do that for about a month. That basically means that he wants to have christmas with us, his birthday, and the new year, but then how long?

I watched him rise and fall and rise again so many times, I just don't expect him to never get up again. He has always been the strong, silent type of guy, but he has never wanted to give up before. So this is why I am dreading christmas. I know in my heart that it will be the last happy time that I get to spend with him, and I don't want that thought clouding my day. I just want to be happy with my days with him. I was lucky enough to have met all of my grandparents. That feels good to get off my chest. Thanks for letting me rant.

I think that I am finally getting to meet people here in Bozo-town. It's weird, but then again, that's seems to happen everywhere. Yep, Junior year is definately kicking my ass. Hoping that I won't have to retake this one class because it is only offered once every two years. I have to pass it otherwise I don't graduate until ATLEAST a semester after I had planned on. That would be the poo. I saw the movie "Jarhead" this weekend. It made me all sad and depressed and I cried long and hard that night. I guess it just brought back far to many bad memories of past assholes and even those I hold dear. I ran into a friend from highschool and got to catch up with him. He was lots of fun back then. Hope that we get to chill again soon. Doing lots of job-hunting lately, with little luck. I can't seem to find any jobs that will be flexible with my classes. Need a job soon though cause my account is getting mighty short on cash. The biggest news lately: My birthday is coming up on only two more short weeks!! I can't wait to turn 21. I can't get into anything here in Bozeman until I am 21, so my social life will just be lots more fun after the 20th. But yeah, that's what's been happening.
